"I accidentally clicked a Facebook link that sounded like it would give you a website to get access to a link for better auto insurance rates. (Yes, I feel like a sucker for falling for it!) I put in my info and clicked to get the quote and immediately my phone and email started lighting up. It was a scam company that sends out your info to a ton of people hoping you buy insurance and they get a cut. The third call I got was from State Farm and a lady named Natalia. I was already in an unhappy mood and told Natalia it was a mistake and my phone and email were blowing up, so I was not interested in State Farm. She handled it like a pro and said she was so sorry but there are a lot of those types of companies. Agreed to take my info off their data, etc. A couple of days later, yesterday, I called them back thinking, I would still like to see if I could beat GEICO that seemed to be overcharging me a lot. I am a Marine so I had tried USAA (way expensive) and then went with GEICO, expensive. Each year it jumped up by about 4-500 dollars. I drive 6000 miles a year and have not had a moving violation/wreck, etc in over 25 years. When I called about the increases they said, "Well, you have a nice car!" REALLY! When I called back I got Lindsey the agent who was great and she told me it would have been Natalia who called me. She got Natalia on the phone with me and she was a DREAM! BUT so is State Farm and Lindsey!!! My current GEICO rate which I pay in full every 6 months is $1,629.09. My new State Farm rate is ... $1,126.01! They are saving me over $1,000 a year!!!!!! If you are with GEICO or USAA, it's great that they say they support the troops, etc. But State Farm saved this Marine over $1000! Natalia and Lindsey are great! They are in the Woodlands and you really should give them a try. I am calling GEICO in two days to cancel and get my refund. BTW This is like a birthday present because November 10th was the 250th birthday of the USMC!!! Semper Fi!"
